The second Disability Cricket Day will see a huge range of activities taking place around the Ground on the day in what is set to be the biggest ever one-off showcase of disability cricket, hosted by MCC, ECB and Lord’s Taverners.

On the Main Ground, MCC will play Middlesex Disability Squad in a T20 from 10.00 to 12.30. The MCC XI, listed below, will include three players from the world of Disability Cricket, in Ben Sutton, Alex Jervis and Jamie Goodwin. Derek Morgan is also a former coach of England’s disability sides. Navin Patel is a former first-class player with Central Districts, and Peter Hatzoglou has played in various short-form tournaments around the world including the Vitality Blast, the Big Bash and The Hundred. It will also be the first time that Middlesex Disability have played on the Main Ground at Lord’s.

From 15.30, our showpiece event begins as England face India in the first Men’s Mixed Disability International T20 match to be held at Lord’s. England lead the seven-match series 2-0, after victories at Taunton and Wormsley. The four other matches in the series will take place at Worcester and Bristol. You can find out more information about the series here.

On the Nursery Ground, there is a Visually Impaired Exhibition match at 09.00 before a Super 1s showcase at 16.30. Next door, in the Nursery Pavilion, the Lord’s Taverners National Table Cricket Finals Day will be taking place, with the Final from 13.30.

Throughout the day, entertainment will be provided by the inspirational disability music group Electric Umbrella, as seen on TV recently, competing in Britain’s Got Talent. The Lord’s Pavilion will be open to all spectators throughout the day, giving the opportunity for visitors to take in the history of the Ground.
